The ARCHIPELAGO Archaeological Isotope Database for the Japanese Islands

ARCHIPELAGO is an archaeological and historical database of land sea food resources utilised in the Japanese Islands. Here we present a dataset human bone hair carbon nitrogen stable isotopes measurements from sites covering time span Upper Palaeolithic to mid-nineteenth century. Reflecting results over 30 years research, contains 1476 entries covers entire archipelago, although data are more highly concentrated coastal regions.
